Welcome

I’m Mady Leick. I'm currently a senior at Eastview High School in Apple Valley Minnesota. For the past two years, I’ve been involved in my school's weekly broadcast program: The Flash. Each week we produce a ten-minute show containing three stories, anchors, and comical credits, all of which are completely student produced. I have personally led eight different packages and assisted on numerous others. I work with my teacher and advisor, Mr. Fornicoia, to develop my skills as a student journalist. Through this work, I hold the responsibility to present stories that show my community who we are. At Eastview, we are a group with a plethora of different voices and stories, and this is why I love journalism. Because we get to present little snapshots of these voices weekly, and we get to explore what makes each of us so unique
